Terms of Service
Terms
service terms and conditions
By scheduling plumbing services with DB Plumbing, you agree to the following terms and conditions. These terms explain scheduling, estimates, pricing, workmanship expectations, customer responsibilities, and payment.
Services and Pricing
DB Plumbing provides residential and light commercial plumbing services, including repairs, replacements, installations, and maintenance. Services are performed based on the scope discussed with you and any approved estimate.
Pricing may be provided as a flat rate, an estimate, or time and materials depending on the job. Estimates are based on visible conditions at the time of evaluation and may change if additional issues are found during the work.
Any additional work, materials, or changes requested after an estimate is approved may require updated pricing and approval before proceeding.
Scheduling and Access
Appointment times are scheduled in service windows. You agree to provide safe, timely access to the work area, including access to the water shutoff, electrical panel if needed, and any relevant mechanical spaces.
If a technician cannot access the work area, or if the site is unsafe, the appointment may be rescheduled and a service call or trip fee may apply.
Customer Responsibilities
Customers are responsible for disclosing known issues, previous repairs, and any site conditions that may impact the work, including frozen lines, prior leaks, suspected mold, or concealed damage. You are also responsible for securing pets and clearing personal items near the work area.
Workmanship and Materials
DB Plumbing will perform services in a professional manner and use materials appropriate for the installation. When applicable, manufacturer warranties apply to supplied products, and labor terms may vary by service.
If you supply your own fixtures or parts, DB Plumbing is not responsible for product defects, missing components, incorrect sizing, or failures related to customer supplied materials. Additional labor due to incompatible or defective parts may be billed.
Property Conditions and Potential Damage
Plumbing work may require opening walls, ceilings, flooring, or other finished surfaces to access piping or components. DB Plumbing is not responsible for hidden or pre existing damage, and patching or finish repair is typically not included unless stated in writing.
Older systems and materials can be brittle or corroded. During repairs, additional issues may be discovered that require further work to restore proper function and code compliance.
Payments
Payment is due upon completion unless otherwise agreed to in writing. Past due balances may be subject to late fees, and continued service may be declined until the account is current.
Limitation of Liability
DB Plumbing is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages related to the use of its services. To the extent permitted by law, liability is limited to the amount paid for the service provided.
Changes to These Terms
These terms may be updated at any time. Continued use of DB Plumbing services constitutes acceptance of the most current terms.
